How to Use the horizontal autoclave machine?
The steps for using a steam sterilizer include checking the equipment, preparing the sterilized items, adding water, loading the items, sealing the container, heating and sterilizing, cooling and venting and removing the items.
Check the equipment: Before using the steam sterilizer pot, should be carefully checked to see if the equipment is in good condition, make sure that all pipes, valves and seals are in good condition. If any damage or abnormality is found, should promptly contact maintenance personnel for repair .
To prepare the sterilized products: Select the appropriate container for the pressure steam sterilizer, ensure that the container is resistant to high temperatures and pressure. Place the item to be sterilized in the container, make sure there is enough space between the items so that the steam can completely surround the item. At the same time, should follow the principle of sorting and packaging, to ensure the sterilization effect of the items.
What to load: Seal the container of items to be sterilized, ensure that the container is well sealed, to prevent steam leakage. For different types of containers, should choose the appropriate sealing method, such as rubber gasket, metal screw cap and so on.
Add water or prepare a steam source: Add an appropriate amount of distilled water to the pressure steam sterilizer, and make sure the water level is within normal range. Be careful not to overfill the tank, in case of overflow. Use regulated distilled water, to ensure the purity of sterilization. If pure steam sterilization is used, the steam heat source should be prepared in advance.
Heat sterilization: Set the temperature and time, to begin the heating process. During the heating process, should pay attention to observe the change of pressure and temperature, to ensure that the sterilization process is completed under the set temperature and time.
Cooling: After sterilization, direct cooling or natural cooling can be used. If you need to inject cool water, you need to be equipped with pumps and circulation pipes, in the semi-automatic control mode, the operation of inlet cooling water is manual, and the corresponding manual valve needs to be manually opened/closed to control the inlet and discharge of the cooling, and the operator needs to be familiar with the operation steps. If natural cooling is used, allow the steam sterilizer to cool naturally to safe pressure then open the exhaust valve to remove excess gas. When the pressure drops to zero, and the temperature is below 70℃, slowly open the exhaust valve.
Unloading product: When the pressure and temperature in the pot are reduced to a safe range, open the lid and take out the sterilized items. After removal, should be placed in a dry ventilated place to dry.
